Create a backup of an Android phone
This guide shows you step by step how to access the internal storage of an Android phone using AllSync.1. Install Required Software
- Install the free software AndroidDrive on your computer.
- Then install the free software Dokan.
2. Enable USB Debugging
To enable the connection between mobile phone and computer, the USB debugging option must be activated on the Android device:- Open your phone's Settings
- Navigate to About phone → Software information.
- Tap Build number seven times in a row to unlock developer options.
- Go back to Settings and open the new Developer options menu at the bottom of the list.
- Enable the USB debugging option there.
3. Connect Mobile Phone to Computer
- Open AndroidDrive on your computer.
- Connect your mobile phone to the computer using a USB cable.
- AndroidDrive detects the device and automatically mounts the internal storage as a network drive with a free drive letter.
