AllSync Update Tool

The Update Tool allows you to check whether a new version of AllSync is available for download and install it. The tool is accessed via the menu bar under 'Tools'.

Toolbar

• Check
  Checks whether a new version is available. Information about a new version is displayed in the log.
• Download
  Downloads a new version.
• Stop
  Stops the download.
• Log
  Opens the log of the update tool.
• Help
  Opens the documentation of the update tool.
• Exit
  Closes the update tool.

Version

Here you can see the installed version and the version of AllSync available on the internet, as well as the progress of downloading a new version.

Options

• Automatically check for a new version
  When enabled, the Update Tool automatically checks for a new version upon opening.
• Show setup dialog when installing an update
  If this option is disabled, the update is installed silently in the background.
• Download Folder
  Specify the folder where the update file should be saved.

Proxy

Enter proxy server credentials here if needed.

Privacy

When checking for a new version, only a text file is downloaded and evaluated from our web server. No personal data from your computer is transmitted over the internet.
