General

Location of Application Data

This enables you to specify the folder in which AllSync's application data is to be stored. The following settings are available:

• Use this folder for all users
  With this option, all Windows users use the same application data for AllSync. The folder can be freely selected from the AllSync Professional Edition onwards.
• Use the Application Data system folder of the user currently logged in
  This causes the application data to be automatically stored in the Application Data system folder accessible by the user currently logged in. Each Windows user thus has their own application data for AllSync.

The following subfolders are located in the specified storage location:

• Folder 'Log'
  All log files (*.txt) are stored in this folder.
• Folder 'Archive'
  All archived log files (*.txt, *.zip) are stored in this folder.
• Folder 'Profile'
  All profiles (*.a4p), profile logs (*.txt) and profile icons (*.ico) are stored in this folder.
• Folder 'Task'
  All tasks (*.a4t) and their log files (*.txt) are stored in this folder.
• Folder 'Scripts'
  All VB sample scripts (*.vbs) are located in this folder.
• Folder 'Screenshot'
  All created screenshots of the profile properties are stored in this folder.

Updates

This option causes AllSync's Internet-Update to be started at specified intervals and a check to automatically be conducted for a new version of AllSync on the AllSync website.
